CRYPTO-CURRENCY PRICE PREDICTOR FROM January 2022 TO December 2023

Cryptocurrency is a new hot topic with lots of people are involved in the buying and selling of crypto currency. There are lots of cryptocurrencies available in the market. In this blog I am going to predict the price of some of the most popular crypto-currencies. The prediction is based on three famous machine learning technique - ets, arima and neural network based on Keras library. Ets and arima are two well established method in the field of machine learning for time series prediction.  Crypto-currency values are also predicted using the neural network which is a buzzword now a day and can produce exceptional prediction results. The prediction model is build in R.

Data Description

The training method is based on the kaggle dataset "Every Cryptocurrency Daily Market Price" [1]. In this dataset, there are data for 1584 different types of crypto-currencies. There are total 758534 observatiosn starting from 28/04/2013 to 31/12/2021. The data set is a well defined data set which not only contains the detail of the crypto-currency but also the current rank of the corresponding crypto-currency. The dataset contains the opening price, the highest value, the lowest value and the closing value on a given day of the corresponding crypto-currency. The dataset also contains the volume, the market value, the close ratio and the spread value of the crypto-currency on that day.
